Nicole Richie will go to jail
Nicole Richie is set to appear in court on Friday and will supposedly either plead not guilty or no contest to DUI charges. (She drove on the wrong side of the freeway on December 11) Nicole will learn her fate right then and there on Friday because the judge will sentence her the same day.
With another prior DUI conviction, and found guilty on Friday, she will have to serve at least five days in jail.
But who knows how long she will really serve being pregnant. She’ll probably be sentenced to a month or something and only serve 30 minutes because the baby will need special monitoring or something bogus.
When Interviews Go Hilarious
So this is my favorite youtube video at the moment. It’s a segment that aired on some ABC affiliate and it is 4 minutes of the most uncomfortable interviewing I have ever seen. The woman behind the desk has clearly never seen an entertainment show before, or interacted with human beings. Or learned to read. Holly Hunter is a pretty respectable actress so the only way I can understand how she was booked on this show is because her agent must have Down Syndrome. Which is cool and totally progressive of Holly Hunter, but at some point you have to say ‘I know that you are busy sticking your fingers in all of my condiments and smearing them on the cabinets right now, but at some point we may need to sit down and talk about my career.’
Lindsay’s new film set to release
Lindsay Lohan finally made a movie to show her true talents as a pole dancer, and the critics are already saying the movie is going to do poorly and probably will open in the lower third of the top ten. Ouch, that’s gotta hurt.
Apparently, Lindsay’s DUI jail time, is hindering the release of “I Know Who Killed Me” and only 1200 screens are going to show it instead of 3000 even though this is a major studio release.
I actually don’t mind Lindsay Lohan movies, but her going to jail and coming out with a movie where she pole dances could actually make more people want to see the movie if they didn’t have sucky trailers for it. It’s all about the advertising people!
Scott Baio gets rejected
Tuesday night Scott Baio was trying to get an invite to Anne Hathaway’s after party for her latest film “Becoming Jane” and got rejected! Ouch, apparently the people in charge didn’t think he had the right image to be attending the party.
Poor Scott Baio, he used to be so adored and loved by many, now he’s a has-been who can’t even get into a B-List actors after party. Sucks to be him.
Hilary Duff moves on
Hilary Duff has apparently moved on from ex-Joel Madden and has her sights set on hockey star Mike Comrie. Not only is Mike a center for the New Islanders hockey team, he is heir to a Brick Warehouse fortune.
The two were caught canoodling at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica and have been spotted in Idaho vacationing together.
So Mike is her new rebound man, huh? I guess she decided to move away from the tattooed bad boys, to a jock on ice.
Bad guy actor Peter Greene busted for buying crack
In yet another drug bust story, memorable bad guy actor Peter Greene (Pulp Fiction,The Usual Suspects, Training Day), was caught purchasing crack in broad daylight in Manhattan’s Alphabet City Tuesday afternoon.
Greene spent Tuesday night in jail and plead guilty to criminal possession.
At least he admits to buying crack, and therefore smoking it, unlike Lindsay Lohan who tries to deny that the cocaine was hers even though it was in her pocket.
Naomi Watts gives birth
Naomi Watts finally gave birth early Thursday morning. The baby is said to be doing well, but the sex and name of the baby have yet to be revealed. Naomi and father, Liev Schreiber didn’t know the sex of the baby until it was born!
Congratulations! I hope the kid wasn’t as big coming out, judging from a recent picture of her where she looked like she was about ready to explode!
Bruce Willis’ daughter caught in middle of drug bust
18-year old, Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was in a Maryland Hotel Room where the cops raided the place and busted a guy for marijuana after being called for noise complaints from fellow guests. She was apparently one of four people in the room but was not being investigated on any charges. The young starlet is taking after her father and is making an indie film in Maryland called “From Within.”
So there was pot in the room, and she wasn’t smoking it?? Yeah, I buy that one…
Claire Danes nipple slip
Celebrities just don’t know how to dress themselves. Normally you put on a bra and panties before heading out the door. At least I do every morning, but some celebrities must like to have their who-ha’s hanging out all over the place and Claire Danes is one of them.
Claire Danes was on Canada’s MTV promoting her new movie StarDust when she bent over and exposed her breast for the entire network to see.
Lindsay’s younger sister sets the record straight
Lindsay Lohan’s younger sister, 13 year-old Ali, sets the record straight once and for all about the role their father has played in their families lives over the years. Ali wrote to 24/Sizzler:
Hi david this is ali lohan, i want everybody to know the truth out there. My mom is a single mom of four children she has always been there for us, she was my mother and father and still is. My father is telling all lies to people and saying he was such a great dad and was always there for us, my father was never there for us, My mom was always there souporting us. i think that the whole reason why my sister is upset with her self and not as cofident, is because of my dad not being around, and always staying out late and not coming home for days, he would come back home never himself, he was always was making excuses for his bad behavior . And would always blame my mother. He just wants everybody in the world knowing that he was a great dad. He wasnt that is all a lie. I just want my sister to stick throught this okay, and my mother and brothers and i are there for my sister 100% and have always been. I’ve wanted to say this for so long and get this out there and let everyone know that our family is like a normal family but of course we are put under a microscope because of lindsays fame, lindsay will be fine she is just going through a rough time right now but she will be fine. i know this for a fact. My sisters is just like a normal sister. her and I have so much in common. My mother and sister are huge insperations to me, they have made it through so much in there lives. Ali must really hate her dad to make it a point to write a letter to the media explaining his lack of a role as a father. However, I wouldn’t blame all of Lindsay’s issues on her father. Being handed millions of dollars at a young age and partying with all the rich and famous have made her who she is today: A cracked out, jail ridden sex pot.
