Alycia Lane Has Some Anger Issues, Punches Cop
Alycia Lane sounds like a pretty seriously unbalanced person.
The Philadelphia news anchor made headlines earlier this year when she emailed bikini shots of herself to NFL Network’s Rich Eisen (the photos were intercepted by Eisen’s wife). Now she’s in the news for calling a female NYPD cop a “dyke bitch” before hitting her in the face.
This apparently was caused by Lane getting caught by a slow moving unmarked car. This pissed her off a little bit, even when told the car was being driven by cops looking for a criminal.
Her boyfriend Chris Booker was in the car with her, but apparently there wasn’t much he could do about the situation.
Lily Allen Is (Also) Pregnant
Lily Allen joined Jamie Lynn Spears in announcing her pregnancy today, and with the publicity over the younger Spears she couldn’t have picked a better day if she wanted to do it under the radar.
The father is 37 year old musician Ed Simons, a one half of the duo The Chemical Brothers. Allen is 22.
And right after she lost some weight, I’m sure she’ll be a little annoyed that it’s all about to come back on. Not sure motherly is the first thing I would have thought of when it comes to Allen, so it will be interesting to see how she handles it all.
Lauren Upton, Ms. Teen South Carolina, Makes Year’s Most Memorable Quotes
The editor of the Yale Book of Quotations has released it’s most memorable quotes of the year, and Lauren Upton makes it at number two with this gem that we remember so well:

Jamie Lynn Spears Mom Won’t Be Publishing Her Parenting Book Any Time Soon
It seemed like a pretty horrendous idea from the start, that the parent of one of the biggest trainwreck celebrities in the world would be writing a book on parenting. But it took Jamie Lynn Spears getting pregnant at the age of 16 to make Lynn Spears realize her views on parenting might not be book worthy.
Which is kind of insane. Jamie Lynn getting knocked up at the age of 16 kind of pales in comparison to everything Britney Spears has done in the past few years. Kids make mistakes, but Britney is a nutter.
Lynn’s book was going to be published by Christian publisher Thomas Nelson Inc., but they have decided to put the book on “hold”. I’m sure it’ll be coming out right around never.

Casey Aldridge Is The Father Of Jamie Lynn Spears Baby
So now that the initial shock has worn off, (for most people, we here at Top Socialite knew along that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant) it’s time to dig a little deeper. Like who exactly is responsible for Jamie Lynn’s little oopsy?
His name is Casey Aldridge. He’s 19 years old and apparently met Jamie Lynn at church years ago (hahahahahahaha) and the two have been dating since.

Casey’s mother spoke with TMZ earlier today, saying that “everything is fine” (of course it is, her son just hit the jackpot). No word on if Aldridge is in college or doing anything with his life, but now I’m sure he’ll have the cash to do whatever he wants. Let’s just hope he doesn’t decide he wants to put out a hip-hop album.

Tara Reid’s stomach yo-yos back and forth between looking decent and horrifying, and it looks like she’s swung back to looking decent again. Here she is in Bali recently, looking a little thin, but altogether not horrible.
Amy Winehouse Might Be Dead Soon
Who the hell knows ultimately why Amy Winehouse is so disturbed, but in recent years it’s pretty obvious that she has an incredibly unhealthy fixation on her husband and drug buddy Blake Fielder.
And now she’s taking that to even higher levels, making a suicide pact with Blake in the event that they have to serve a lengthy prison sentence. Lengthy being a whopping five years or more. There’s now a fairly good chance that could happen, as Amy is now under suspicion of spending some cash to clear her husband of an assault charge.
Given how psycho she is about her husband it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the police actually do have something on her so it’s hard to tell how out of hand this could all get. Really though, is there a celebrity out there who would surprise you less to find out they were dead than Amy Winehouse?
