Uma Thurman: Engaged
Uma Thurman will walk down the aisle with financier Arpad “Arki” Busson. The pair have been dating since meeting last summer in Milan and reportedly Busson surprised Thurman with a ring this past week in London.
One thing they do have in common is kids. Thurman has two kids with ex-husband Ethan Hawke while Busson has two kids with ex-fiancée Elle Macpherson.
No word as to when the nuptials will take place.
Jennifer Lopez: Ordered to Court to Testify
Jennifer Lopez will head to court after being served with a subpoena last week to testify in a lawsuit over the 1999 nightclub shooting involving ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Natania Reuben is filing a $130 million lawsuit against Combs and jailed Jamal “Shyne” Barrow after being shot in the face during the 1999 incident. Lopez was with her ex the night of the December 27, 1999 shooting but wasn’t called to the stand as a witness in the previous trial and has never spoken publicly about what happened that night.
Lopez herself is being sued for $5 million by a flight attendant who says she was bitten by a Lopez guard dog two years. Lisa Wilson, 40, claims she has been unable to work due to back injuries and a fall that resulted from the dog attack.
Amy Winehouse: Punches a Fan
Amy Winehouse just can’t quit grabbing headlines for her outlandish behavior. At Britain’s Glastonbury Festival on Saturday, Winehouse threw a couple of punches into the crowd of fans while singing her song “Rehab.”
The attack might have been sparked by the audience booing when Winehouse said the line, “I’d rather be at home with Blake” and it’s assumed she meant incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
She threw a couple of punches into the crowd before her security guy pushed her away and then she did a weird butt dance into the audience before she switched sides of the stage.
I can’t believe people are still asking her to sing with all the drama she brings along. I guess the drama is part of the appeal though. You can never predict what she’ll do. Read more
Model Ruslana Korshunova: Dies In Apparent Suicide
Ruslana Korshunova, 20, was born in Kazakhstan and named the “next big thing” by Vogue magazine. Sadly, her life was cut short on Saturday afternoon when her body was found after what appears to be her suicide.
Around 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon, Korshunova’s body was found in the street outside her posh NYC apartment on Water Street in the Financial district. She lived on the ninth floor and apparently leapt to her death.
It is unknown if anyone was in her apartment at the time or if she left a suicide note but local media reports suggested that witnesses did see the 20-year-old jump from her balcony.
Friends are baffled by her suicide saying that she had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris and seemed “on top of the world.” A friend told the NY Post, “There were no signs. That’s what’s driving me crazy. I don’t see one reason why she would do that.”

Michael Lohan: Another Sibling For Lindsay?
Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s pop, is in the news for possibly fathering another child outside of his marriage to Dina Lohan.
“Years later [the woman] contacted me, convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child,” Michael says in a statement to OK! Magazine.
Lohan is requesting a paternity test to prove that he is the father of the unidentified woman’s daughter.

Verne Troyer and Renae Shrider : Sex Tape Stolen
Verne Troyer aka Mini Me is pissed. Remember that tape from a few days ago that you couldn’t help but watch 3 times in a row and then afterwards you sat there and tried to picture the logistics of that union?
Well you won’t believe this but Troyer says that tape was *gasp* stolen. Troyer and that crazy tongue of his weren’t trying to catch the eye of a porn director and he definitely wasn’t trying to get any publicity. (Yeah yeah.)
He’s so pissed that on Thursday he filed a $20 million lawsuit and is seeking the $20 mil in damages for the tape being posted online of him with a former girlfriend, Renae Shrider.
Per the judge’s orders, TMZ, promoter Kevin Blatt and SugarDVD (an online distributor of adult films) are prohibited from selling or distributing the video.
That really sucks. This was one of my favorite “celebrity” sex tapes to date.
