Madonna Is Shunned By Hampton villagers
Due to the controversial nature of her fame and surely all the press attention that comes with her, Madonna has found that she is not welcome by her neighbours in the Hamptons.
According to Page Six:
A couple of weekends ago, Madonna, who recently signed a contract for a townhouse on East 81st Street, stayed at the beautiful Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack. But our sources report she wasn’t interested in buying the 12,000-square-foot, Tuscan-style villa and 100 acres, which have been on the market since the winery’s well-liked founder, Christian Wolffer, died in a freak boating accident in Brazil on New Year’s Eve — she just wanted to board her horses at the winery’s stables.
Madonna then presented the estate with a 10-page list of demands, according to our source. Among the stipulations were that “no one could be in the riding ring at the same time she was. It was laughable. They turned her down flat.”

In no uncertain terms McGillis responded that what she is looking for is “definitely a woman.” McGillis, a long-rumored lesbian who starred on The L Word as a closeted Army Colonel trying a Don’t Ask Don’t Tell case added that she is “done with the man thing.”
She said she is “done with that, and needs to move on in life, and that’s another part of being true to yourself.” It has been a challenge personally for her, she added.
Paula Abdul Fooled In Bruno Movie Prank
Paula Abdul is fuming mad that she fell for a prank, by Sasha Baron Cohen for his new movie Bruno.
Sasha had contacted Paula and told her that she was to be named “Artist of the Year”.
The American Idol judge recounts the prank in great, great detail in an interview with 104.7 FM - under the cut.
Paula explains and Us transcribes:
“I’m greeted by this futuristic, Captain Nemo–looking dude with a mohawk — and he’s flaming,” recalls Abdul, who said she never signed a release (her publicist did). “I’m like, ‘OK, this is weird. Is this a variety show or something like that?’”
Joe Biden Sounds Swine Flu Alarm
Vice president Joe Biden said today he would tell his family members not to use subways in the U.S. and implied schools should be shuttered as the swine flu outbreak.
Biden said in part:
“I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now …”
“… I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now. It’s not that it’s going to Mexico, it’s you’re in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft. That’s me. I would not be, at this point, if they had another way of transportation suggesting they ride the subway.”
“… If you’re out in the middle of a field and someone sneezes that’s one thing. If you’re in a closed aircraft or a closed container or closed car or closed classroom it’s a different thing …”

Rumors are swirling that Laguna Beach starlet Kristin Cavallari could be replacing Lauren Conrad as the star of ‘The Hills‘ Season 6.
Cavallari appeared at the wedding of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on ‘The Hills‘ Season 5 Finale, most likely to stir up the old romance between her and Conrad’s friend, Brody Jenner.

Who bid the ‘Idol’ stage farewell tonight?
Fans said goodbye to Matt Giraud tonight on American Idol. After some great performances by Natalie Cole, Taylor Hicks and Jamie Foxx, Matt was sent on his way. While I’m not really sure I agree with the way it all panned out, somebody had to go.
I think Matt will be successful enough that he doesn’t need American Idol. I just wish it would have been Danny Gokey.
