Rielle Hunter Tells Oprah She Didn’t Ruin John Edwards’ Home
Rielle Hunter appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show today and said she was not the cause of John Edward’s divorce. Hunter told Winfrey, “It is not my experience that a third party wrecks a home….I believe the problems exist before a third party comes into the picture.” Winfrey asked Hunter, “So you don’t think you wrecked his home?” Hunter replied, “I do not believe I wrecked his home.” Hunter went on to say, “A lot of people bought into the myth of the marriage, the Edwards’ marriage, as being a storybook story and it was so perfect and so wonderful and I destroyed it… “It fits into the two-dimensional story line.” Wow, she is quite delusional…
Time Magazine Most Influential List
Time Magazine just published their annual list of the Most Influential People and topping the list are Lady Gaga and Robert Pattinson. Speaking of Gaga, Cyndi Lauper wrote, “When I see somebody like Gaga, I sit back in admiration….“I’m inspired to pick up the torch again myself. I did an interview with her once, and she showed up with a sculpture on her head. I thought, ‘How awesome.’” Other musician’s making the list are Prince, Elton John and Taylor Swift. Other TV and film stars making the list are Neil Patrick Harris, Lea Michele, Simon Cowell, James Cameron, Kathryn Bigelow, Oprah Winfrey and Ricky Gervais.
Bill Condon Slated to Direct Twilight Saga, ‘Breaking Dawn’
Oscar nominated Bill Condon has confirmed he has accepted the role of director of the final installment of the Twilight Saga, ‘Breaking Dawn.” Condon said of the opportunity, “I’m very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life onscreen.” Erik Feig, president of production and acquisitions for Summit Entertainment, said “Bringing Stephenie Meyer’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ to the screen requires a graceful and intelligent hand, and we believe Bill Condon is exactly the right steward, having shown equal and abundant talents of immense creativity and subtle sensitivity.” Stephanie Meyer had similar feelings, saying, “I think he’s going to be a great fit, and I’m excited to see what he does with the material.”
Ricky Gervais Will Host Golden Globes Again
Ricky Gervais, the co-creator of “The Office,” “Extras” and “The Ricky Gervais Show” will again host the Golden Globes, slated for January 16th. While his first appearance received mixed reviews, the ratings increased 12% from the previous year. Gervais said of the offer, “I can’t believe they invited me back after awful things I said”….”Let’s see how far I can go this time.”

The History Channel just announced that Katie Holmes will play the infamous Jackie O while Greg Kinnear will play John F Kennedy in the miniseries, “The Kennedys.” Barry Pepper will play Robert Kennedy while Tom Wilkinson will play Joseph Kennedy. The 8 hour series will portray the Kennedy’s personal life as well as the major events of that time.
Julia Robers Named by People Magazine as World’s Most Beautiful Person
People Magazine named Julia Roberts as their 2010 Most Beautiful Person. This is Julia’s 12th time appearing in the ranking. Also appearing in the 2010 ranking are Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez. As for the men, Twilight hottie, Robert Pattison mad the list along with Justin Bieber and Adam Lambert. There was a special section this year called “Beautiful Jessica’s” which featured Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba and singer Jessica Simpson.
Sandra Bullock Files for Divoce While Finalizing Adoption
Whew, what a year Sandra Bullock has had! She won an Oscar for her role in the movie, “The Blind Side” and then less than two weeks later, she found out about her hubby’s extra marital affairs. The following few months have been filled with more women coming forward with information about affairs they have had with James. Bullock kept a very low profile until just recently when she was seen without her wedding band and now she confirmed everyone’s suspicions by filing for divorce on April 23rd. She seems to want to proceed with divorce amicably and below radar. However, we just found out that Bullock and James have been preparing to adopt an infant and were going to announce this news but the affairs broke just before then. Bullock says she is now finalizing the adoption as a single parent. Her son is a 3 1/2 month old adorable little boy named Louis. He has been her joy in the last few painful months.
