   The David Campbell you have identified as a Scientologist is not the David Campbell who is a Scientologist. The Scientologist David Campbell is a composer/arranger, born in Canada but has lived in the U.S. most of his life. He is the father of the musician Beck.

   Also, re Bodhi Elfman, Danny Elfman is his uncle, not his father.

    I think it’s clear that Scientology is nothing more than a tax dodge for many of these wealthier people. I can’t see someone like Packer getting suckered by a cult, but he’d see the benefit of using it to avoid taxes.

    By definition all religions are a cult. I laugh at all who make fun of these fools then go to “insert religion here” on their day of praying. To quote Hitler “if you tell a lie loud enough, often enough and long enough and soon the masses will believe it for the truth”. Its only a matter of time until this nonsence is accepted as truth. At that point we are officially doomed as a civilization.

    What an incredible amount of bigotry we see in the comments here. So they are Scientologists. What if it were “67 Celebrities Who Are Gay” or “67 Celebrities Who Are Black” or “67 Celebrities Who Are Jewish” - would we still abide comments like “I see a certain stupid in their eyes” or “I’ll never watch “Earl” again”. No, we would all of us call them out as bigots.

    And for those of you that have respect for any of these people’s intelligence or character, I think it is a nice reflection on Scientology that they practice it.

Its a fact, the cult robs people of all the money they have and leaves them with nothing. Many people have died and committed suicide because the cult ruined their life by either taking their money or depriving them of proper medical care. John Travoltas son is autistic but they dont believe in autism so they wont get proper treatment for him. We do not have to tolerate such ignorance and stupidity and this cult is incomparable to most other major religions. The only reason celebrities join Scientology is for tax evasion purposes. God bless Texas because we are doing what we can to take away tax exempt status from this cult. I am glad my home state sees through the immense wall of bullshit put forth by this church. Honestly, give the tolerance spiel a rest, we do not have to tolerate something so deleterious to society.
