90210: Much Hyped Premiere, Was It That Great?

Whoever is in charge of marketing for the new Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff must be freakin’ tired! Everything about the new CW show 90210 like cast details, connections to the old show, payment scandals, etc. were all over the place these past few months and after the show premiered tonight the question remains, is it going to be a hit or miss?

The cast members, of course, thing the show will be a winner. Rob Estes who plays the father of Annie Wilson, the Brenda Walsh for a new generation, is pretty excited about what the show has to offer.

“I read the script and it’s really good. It shocked me,” admits Estes.“”I read some of the scenes, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I’ve been wanting to say that.’ Harry says what I would want to be able to say to my kids.”

So they have the parent role down but will audiences latch on the younger characters of the show and make this version a success?
