Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez: Headed to Divorce Court?
Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez and his wife of five years, Cynthia are calling it quits. Reports have surfaced that both have been involved in A-list affairs and it may finally be the last straw.
In the middle of a rumored break-up herself, Madonna has been spending a lot of time with the slugger including taking in a Yankee game with her kids. Madonna’s rep insists that “they’re just friends” but come on, would she really come out and say “A-Rod and Madge forever?”
Cynthia’s rumored fling is with Lenny Kravitz and she’s been shacking up at his place in Paris. Kravitz is also pulling friend card and saying he’s just giving Cynthia platonic help.
“There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself,” Kravitz said. “This is unequivocally 100 percent not true.”
The three - A-Rod, Madonna and Lenny Kravitz - all are represented by the same manager, Guy Oseary.
This isn’t the only affair storm the Rodriguez’s have battled. In 2007, photos surfaced of A-Rod going into a Toronto strip club with dancer Joslyn Noel Morse. Cynthia packed her bags and left but eventually returned to her husband’s side.
The couple have two daughters so hopefully this whole mess will be dealt with quickly and quietly if divorce is the route they choose.
