Amber Hates the Jews

This is Amber, you may not recognize her because she’s not crying all over the place, but I assure you, this is her. Last night on Big Brother, she told a fellow houseguest that the majority of Jews she knows are “selfish.” And that her mom and sister explained to her that you can tell a Jewish person based on “their last name” and “by their nose.” Abraham Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League told TMZ,

“It’s offensive. It’s part of the unintended consequences of the communications revolution. [Blah, Blah, Blah]… I want CBS to understand they are facilitating anti-Semitism. They should act responsibly to the community; they are legitimizing bigoted conversation.”

Actually, Abraham, CBS is trying to make a reality show that depicts real people talking and acting in a realistic fashion. Which includes racism and general naiveté. And also hanging upside down while getting drenched in bird poo. Or dressing up like a rabbit for a week straight while you eat nothing but steel-cut oatmeal. If anyone should be up in arms about this season of BB, it should be ME because my roommate makes me watch it 3 times a week and now I care about things like this! Bad roommate!
