Angela Bassett: Playing Rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s Mother
In an upcoming movie being made about the life of rapper The Notorious B.I.G., Angela Bassett will be playing the part of his mother, Violetta Wallace. For the part of Biggie Smalls himself, Jamal “Gravy” Woolard will be tackling the role while Anthony Mackie will be playing Tupac Shakur. The movie is set to start filming March 24th, 2008 all around New York.
