Aubrey O’Day Clarifies Her Castro, Hitler Comments

Aubrey O'Day
The interview on Fox’s program Hannity started out as a conversation about the UN’s recent international sex-education guidelines. The conversation somehow shift over to Hitler and Fidel Castro.
At one point, the conversation turned to U.S. Representative Diane Watson’s recent comments about health care, in which she praised Cuban leader Fidel Castro as a “brilliant leader.” O’Day sided with Watson.
As with most things on Fox, it got twisted to mean that she supported the actions of these leaders. This is not what she meant. You can be a genius and total psychopath at the same time.
“Murderers and dictators generally are some of the smartest people out there — they just use their brain power for evil purposes,” O’Day said. “I don’t condone any of their evil behavior, but I was asked about their intellectual firepower … and in my opinion you can’t have a low IQ and wreak that much havoc on the world. What Hitler succeeded in doing was deplorable. And I hope we never see such an abusive use of power again.”
