Balloon Boy Parents Get Jail
The famed hoaxers received jail time yesterday. the husband, Richard Heene and his wife Mayumi both received the term as part of their guilty plea. Richard will receive 30 days in jail while his wife only received 20. They’ll be allowed to work and one will complete the sentence before the other one starts. This way someone can be home with the kids at night.
Yet to be decided is whether they will have to reimburse the $47000.00 spent on the rescue effort. Prosecutors have asked for this judgment against the Heene’s.
