“Bewitched” Star Alice Ghostley Dies

I can pretty much guarantee that if you watched TV in the last forty years you’ve seen Alice Ghostley at some point. Just perusing her IMDB listing you can see that she was a hard working actress, and she was all over the place on great TV shows from the 1950’s all the way to the 90’s.

It’s really hard to pick roles to define her when she had so many, but she was probably best known for her work as Esmeralda on “Bewitched” and as Bernice on “Designing Women”. She was 81 years old and passed after a long bout with colon cancer and a series of strokes.
