Blake Lewis: Dropped From Record Label
American Idol’s Season 6 runner-up, Blake Lewis has been dropped from his label Arista Records.
The beat boxer is feeling the same rejection as previous AI winners Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks who were also dumped by their labels.
Arista Records confirmed the end of Lewis’ contract on Wednesday with this statement.
“Arista Records will not be picking up Blake’s option and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
