Boy George: Not Allowed In U.S.
Don’t change that terrorism threat color to red just yet. Boy George was told last week that he couldn’t get a U.S. Visa due to his outstanding criminal charges in the U.K.
Since he can’t come across the pond, he had to cancel his North American summer tour. Now there’s a concert I was looking forward to.
“I was really hoping that the issue would be resolved and that some kind soul at the U.S. Visa Office would realize that if the police in the U.K. placed no restrictions on my movements, that should have been good enough for them,” George said in a statement.
It’s not like your some big hardened criminal there Georgie, calm down. Why would the U.K. lock down your movement?
He’s awaiting trial for charges of assault and false imprisonment brought against him by a male escort last spring.
Big Boy George fans or fan, you’ll have to wait until winter when he hopes to reschedule his tour.
