Brad Garrett: Battery Claim In Photog Scuffle

Emmy-winning actor Brad Garrett, best known for his role on Everybody Loves Raymond, is being investigated today following a fight with a photographer which led to allegations of battery.

The incident took place outside of Dan Tana’s restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd. at around 9 p.m. Tuesday when Garrett was leaving. (Check out the TMZ video here.)

Allegedly, the 48-year-old got into an altercation with some photographers, smacked a camera and then challenged them to a fight.

No arrests have been made at this point and a message left for Garrett’s manager, Glenn Robbins, was not immediately returned.

Garrett had an Aug. 13, 2007 run-in with photographers in Malibu after one of them reportedly called him racist for some earlier comments he had made about blacks but no charges were pressed.
