Britney Spears: #1 On Charts, Touring In Spring
Love it or hate it, Britney Spears is again on top of the music world. Her latest song “Womanizer” broke the record and shot from #96 to #1 in a week, the first time she’s hit #1 since 1999’s “…..Baby One More Time.”
The previous record for the biggest jump was held by T.I. and was first accomplished on September 6 when his song “Whatever You Like” went from #71 to #1 but he beat his own record last week when his song “Live Your Life” went from #80 to #1.
To go along with her #1 song and new CD which drops December 2, Spears will hit the concert trail in the spring. She last toured in 2004 and it grossed $34 million.
