Britney Spears and Madonna: Kabbalah Friendship Breaker
Britney Spears and Madonna were pretty tight BFF’s there for a while and shared performances which included the famous smooch at the VMAs. The two even sported “B” and “M” necklaces just in case anyone was curious about their friendship.
Madonna is credited for getting Spears into her religion of Kabbalah but now that Spears is pitching the little red bracelet, Madonna is set to sever the ties.
“Madonna doesn’t feel she can work with Britney any more because they’re just not aligned on a spiritual level.”
Spears was scheduled to appear on stage during Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet World Tour stateside dates but that is so over.
“Madonna is dismayed that Britney has just dropped Kabbalah,” a source tells Britain’s News of the World. “She’s always believed it is a way of life, not just something to pick up and get rid of on a whim.”
Call Christina Aguilera in to replace her, Madge. I’m sure she’s still pissed that her kiss didn’t get as much attention as the Spears smooch.
