Britney Spears: Auctions Painting For Charity

Have you ever thought that a 5 by 4 foot semi-nude painting of Britney Spears is all that’s missing from your home decor?

Well you’re in luck. Britney has donated the signed painting to be put up for auction to benefit the L.A.-based Promises Foundation, which provides behavioral health services to low-income women and their children.

The eBay auction page features multiple pictures of the singer with the art as well as a letter of authenticity from her father, Jamie, which states: “I hereby verify that the portrait of my daughter, Britney, has been in our home since it was completed by the Daniel Maltman Studio.”

So get out the checkbook because bidding starts at $10,000 and ends September 20th. No bids so far but 15,000 people have viewed the page.

And in case you were wondering, the question about the possibility of meeting the starlet when picking up the painting probably won’t happen. That’s why I’m not bidding.
