Britney Spears denies dating bodyguard

The recent rumors and sightings that Britney and her bodyguard/manny were starting a romance are reportedly not true. Supposedly:

“He’s her bodyguard and manny,” says a source familiar with Shippen’s employment. “They’re not dating.” Shippen, a California native described by the source as “funny, but on the quiet side,” is “tickled” by the attention from the media. “But he really wants to focus on his job: taking care of the kids and of her,” says the source.

So either, Britney really is dating him and doesn’t want it to get out that she’s sleeping with her manny, or no one is willing to date Britney so her people have to make up fictious boyfriends for her.
