Britney Spears: Hits Tree Lighting Ceremony In L.A.
A few days after her pre-taped message aired on the tree-lighting special in New York’s Rockefeller Center, the starlet went to the opposite coast to move a candy cane from “off” to “on.”
It looks like Britney’s people are eager to get her face seen no matter what the event may be because she was seen turning on the weird electronic tree to open the L.A. Live center on Thursday night.
L.A. Live, an “entertainment campus” featuring dining, entertainment and residences that has been in development for years.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, USC football coach Pete Carroll and Adam Carolla all made appearances at the event which featured a white-coated Brit (with a similar do as in NYC).
Spears didn’t say much but she showed off her cheese when she moved the festive candy cane lever to “on” to officially light the tree and begin a light show.
I mean it’s not State Fair’s a la Jessica Simpson but it’s pretty low don’t you think?
Whatever, I’m not her PR. But after the 70-minute documentary/ cry fest that was on MTV, I think she should move to paparazzi-less South Dakota and call it a day.
