Charles Barkley, Doug Wilson and Matt Dillon: All Arrested
Police have been busy over the past couple of days picking up celebrities for not abiding by the law. Three, count ‘em three, have been put in handcuffs: former NBA player Charles Barkley, Trading Spaces designer Doug Wilson and actor Matt Dillon.
It all started with Doug Wilson who was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence in Illinois. The cops spotted Wilson when he failed to yield for a police car with its lights and sirens going and pulled him over.
He was charged with aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and unlawful transportation of alcohol.
Wilson was able to leave after he posted $1,000 bond.
Next came Matt Dillon on Tuesday night when he was pulled over in Vermont for going 106 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone. (Lead foot much?)
Dillon was taken to the local station, was fingerprinted, cited and is scheduled to be in court on January 21.
Finally, Charles Barkley hopped on the arrest train by getting pulled over around 1:30am on Wednesday after running a stop sign in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Barkley reportedly declined a breathalyzer test and police are now waiting on the results of a blood test.
He was cited for suspicion of DUI and then left in a cab.
