Chris Cagle: Arrested

Country singer Chris Cagle and his girlfriend, Jennifer Tant, were arrested at 4:40am this morning after getting into a fight while partying at the Players Inn, just west of Nashville.

Police say it started as a verbal dispute when the duo left the hotel and got physical when they arrived at Cagle’s house.

The two were creative in their weapon choices because the bump on Chris’ head came from an umbrella and Tant had a cut on her lip and a sore arm from being hit with her purse. The report also says that they were intoxicated at the time. Shocking.

Both were arrested and will remain in jail until 4:40pm today with the bond set at $1500 each. (Tennessee state domestic laws view both as the primary aggressor.)

Chris is also due in court September 23 in Tucson stemming from an assault charge that took happened outside of a nightclub in Tucson, Arizona. Allegedly Chris punched a fan’s boyfriend after the fan became verbally abusive to Chris because he wouldn’t sign an autograph.
