Christie Brinkley: Divorce Trial Open To Public
Christie Brinkley, 54, is divorcing husband Peter Cook, a 49-year-old architect, and the trial will remain open to the public as ruled by Judge Mark Cohen. Cohen feels that an open case “may provide a basis for societal education.”
Brinkley may provide a bit more education about her ex than he wants shared. The couple announced their split in July 2006 and it was revealed that Cook had an affair with two teenage girls and surfed internet porn, specifically swinger sites, looking for women.
Cook’s dirty laundry will be aired when the trial begins July 2 but some wonder how their daughter Sailor, 9, and Brinkley’s son Jack, 13 who Cook adopted, will handle it.
Brinkley doesn’t necessarily want every detail in the public eye saying, “I still remain hopeful that these matters can be settled privately.”
That does suck about the kids hearing everything but if my husband cheated on me with teenagers and surfed porn, I’d want him to learn a lesson. Especially if I happened to look like Christie Brinkley.
How can you stray from a hottie like her? What a dumbass!
