Christina Applegate: Has Breast Cancer

Samantha Who?’s Christina Applegate, 36, has announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening,” her rep said in a statement.

Her mom Nancy Priddy is a breast cancer survivor and Applegate had already planned to appear on the Stand Up For Cancer telethon that airs September 5.

Applegate also recently mourned the loss of on again off again boyfriend Lee Grivas due to a drug overdose last month.
