Clay Aiken: A Father
American Idol alum Clay Aiken can now add father to his resume. If you remember the story, a few months ago it was confirmed that he had donated his sperm to music producer and close friend Jaymes Foster and she was then artificially inseminated.
Foster gave birth to a baby boy at 8:08 Friday morning in an unnamed North Carolina hospital. The name chosen for the 6 pounds 2 ounces baby is Parker Foster Aiken.
Aiken confirmed the exciting news on his blog saying, “My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.”
He went on to add that, “the little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also. The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.”
