Corey Haim overdose leads to death

Corey Haim died March 10th of an apparent overdose. He was 38 years old and had allegedly been battling drug abuse use for over 15 years. Haim, who starred in movies such as Lost Boys and Lucas “was living in the Oakwood Apartments with his mom, very broke, very destitute,” says longtime friend, Corey Feldman. He had moved in with his mother and helped take care of her when she was diagnosed with cancer. He was also apparently trying again to kick his drug use, according to Feldman.
Feldman was on Larry King Live and was visibly upset regarding the outpuring of grief from the Hollywood community saying, “I appreciate the fact that everybody really cares and — and is trying to show their expression of sorrow right now, but at the end of the day, Larry, where were all these people the last 10 years, the last 15 years of Corey’s life?”
Feldman went on to say, “Where were all these people to lend a hand out, to reach out to him and say, you know, you’re a legend … you’re an amazingly talented, wonderful person who’s really never gone out of his way to hurt anybody other than himself.”
