Country singer Mindy McCready arrested

31 year old country singer Mindy McCready was taken in to custody early Saturday morning in Florida. The singer is being charged for battery and resisting arrest. No details have been released as to why she was arrested in the first place. This is not Mindy’s first run in with the law. In 2004 she had obtained prescription pain killers illegally. While on probation for illegal possession she was charged with a DUI in 2005 but was later found not guilty, rather charged for driving on a suspended license.
On Saturday Mindy was released on a $1,000 bail and is due in court August 14th. Mindy is known for her country hit of 1996 “Guys Do It All The Time.”

Maybe it’s the whole one hit wonder thing that makes people go crazy and fall into a life of crime. You know with one hit song you could bank the money and be set for life. Instead they spend all their money and when their career tanks they go nuts.
