Crocs and Escalators, a Dangerous Pair
In case you needed another reason to hate these things, now they are trying to kill children. Alright, maybe not KILL them, but they are causing all sorts of toe-related-mutilations to kids who wear crocs on escalators.
In Singapore, a 2-year-old girl wearing rubber clogs — it’s unclear what brand — had her big toe completely ripped off in an escalator accident last year, according to local media reports
Four-year-old Rory McDermott got a Croc-clad foot caught in an escalator last month at a mall in northern Virginia. His mother managed to yank him free, but the nail on his big toe was almost completely ripped off, causing heavy bleeding.
So there you have it. Crocs hate children. Think about that the next time you see a tiny pair of bright orange rubber clogs and decide the world is going to end if you dont immediately shove them on the feet of your poor, unassuming child.
