‘CSI’s’ Marg Helgenberger: Calls It Quits With Hubby of 19 Years

Marg Helgenberger has been on the show CSI since 2000 and it looks like a good detective might be needed to find out the reason that she split from her husband on 19 years, Alan Rosenberg.
“After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart,” her rep said in a statement. “They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family.”
No reason was given for the separation.
The two met in 1984 while on the show Ryan’s Hope, started dating in 1986 and married in 1989.
Helgenberger, 50, and Rosenberg, 57, have one child together, 18-year-old Hugh.

I just tuned into CSI 2010 and Marg Helgenberger looks like a cadaver! My God, she doesn’t even look real anymore — obviously she’s had a lot of work done — none of it good. Yikes! She was so attractive before and now she looks like Joan Rivers or that cat lady. Too bad.
First of all Marg Helgenberger is a beautiful, classy lady. Secondly, since you have only been a fan of CSI:Las Vegas for one minute–you have not earned the right to post judgment on a character Real CSI fans have been watching since the beginning. Marg, don’t listen to jealous people. You are beautiful. Even more beautiful with time.
A very devoted fan,
Sasha
I’ve watched CSI:LV from day one, and I never cared much for the Catherine Willows character because Helgenberger, unlike most of the other cast members is, in my opinion, a mediocre actor. And as the season progressed her acting only got worse because, in the end, her face barely moved, and good screen acting is often about facial expression. To top it off, I can’t take my eyes off of her weirdly distorted, unevenly puffed up lips.
Well it’s not her fault. If she were working for the BBC she could play a natural-looking 50 year-old woman, like Helen Mirren in “Prime Suspect.” But in Hollywood, you cannot be a woman with wrinkles and gray hair and play the lead in a tv series, only men have that privilege.
