David Cook: “American Idol” Contestant Rushed to Hospital

Blue Springs, Missouri native and American Idol contestant, David Cook, was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after experiencing heart palpitations and a spike in his blood pressure. It looks as though the budding star was taken via a private car to see a private doctor in Los Angeles after a long day of not feeling well.

His stress is understandable since his older brother, Adam Cook, is currently dealing with cancer and the two have a very close relationship. (The A.C. initials on his guitar are a nod to his brother.)

David was treated with medication and is not currently hospitalized but the doctor’s are keep a close eye on his health.
