David Duchovny and Téa Leoni: ‘Separated For Months’
Apparently David Duchovny and Téa Leoni are having trouble weathering the storm of his sex addiction and have announced that they are separated and have been for a while.
“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,” the statement says. “The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
Rumors are also out there that Leoni is the reason that things are over. Supposedly, she hooked with bad boy Billy Bob Thornton and Duchovny discovered some explicit text messages sent to Leoni from Thornton.
The two have been married since 1997 and have two kids: daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
It doesn’t seem like a sex addiction would be the best marriage glue but if Leoni really hooked up with Billy Bob, I’d say they are about even.
