Dixie Chick Martie Maguire: Gives Birth to Daughter
Dixie Chick Martie Maguire gave birth to daughter Harper Rosie Maguire on Friday morning in Austin. Harper weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 oz and measured 20.5 inches long.
This is the third child for Martie and her husband Gareth. They are also parents to 4-year-old twins Kathleen and Eva. Both pregnancies were a result of in vitro fertilization because of Martie’s fertility issues.
A rep for the musician tells OK! Magazine, “Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon.”
Between the three Dixie Chick members, there are now a total of 8 kids. Natalie Maines and husband Adrian Pasdar have two sons, Jackson, 7, and Beckett, 4. Emily Robison and husband Charlie are parents to Gus, 5, and twins, Julianna and Benjamin, 3.
