Elizabeth Banks: Porn and Laura Bush
Elizabeth Banks will have a chance to show her range of acting skills at the end of October when her two very different upcoming films open with days of each other.
Film #1: W - the highly anticipated film about the life and presidency of George W. Bush (played by Josh Brolin). Banks will play his wife Laura.
Banks feels Laura’s beauty is underrated.
“For some reason, I don’t think people appreciate just how beautiful a woman that she is.
I think it’s partially just because I think she needs a mini-makeover - but if she were wearing super stylish Phillip Lim dresses and had long, blond hair, I think you’d really be stunned by just how gorgeous a woman she is,” Banks said.
In theaters October 17th.
Film #2: Zack and Miri Make a Porno - A new Kevin Smith film which stars Banks as Miri and her platonic friend Zack, played by Seth Rogen, and follows them as they attempt to make money by making a porn together.
The movie recently was bumped down from an NC-17 rating to a more audience friendly R. (NC-17 = no one under 17, R = 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent.)
In theaters October 31st.
