Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi: Wedding Pictures
Ellen DeGeneres and longtime love Portia de Rossi were wed Saturday night at their home in Los Angeles.
The couple wed in front of 19 guests, including DeGeneres’ mom Betty and de Rossi’s mom Margaret Rogers, who watched the two exchange handwritten vows.
Both women wore duds by designer Zac Posen and exchanged rings designed by jeweler to the stars Neil Lane.
DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, have been dating since December 2004 and DeGeneres announced their intent to wed on her talk show in May after California found the ban against gay marriage to be unconstitutional.
“She’s taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I’ve taught her,” DeGeneres said of de Rossi last year. “We’ve both changed and grown, and we just feel like, ‘Oh, okay, this is completion.’”
These two make such a great couple and I’m glad they were finally able to wed legally.
They are not married, it is A sham, who cares please stop calling what they have a wedding, it is immoral an unethical. I feel sorry for californians and their hopeless court system.
