“Who?” you may be asking. Once upon a time, Esai Morales was on NYPD Blue. Now he is a defendant in a case in which his ex-girlfriend states that he, “had sex [with her] over her repeated verbal protests and attempts to escape.” And also he knowingly gave her herpes. Well, they say in Hollywood that there is no such thing as bad publicity, so maybe this little conflict will be the shot in the arm that Morales’ career needed. “Grey’s Anatomy” needs a replacement for Isiah Washington, right? Allow me to pitch a new character: “Dr. McValtrex, the loveable date-rapist”. There you go ABC, just make the check payable to cash.
