Free Dr. Pepper: Guns N’ Roses ‘Chinese Democracy’
The folks at Dr. Pepper are probably biting their tongues today after a bet with Guns N’ Roses ends with a promise of free Dr. Pepper for everyone.
Dr. Pepper made the bet in March of 2008 saying that they would give everyone in America a free soda if Guns N’ Roses released their long-awaited album Chinese Democracy before the end of the year.
Well the album is out and that means a free drink from the folks at Dr. Pepper. Today is the only day (Sunday) that they will have the coupons on their website www.drpepper.com so you can imagine that the site is running very slow if at all.
If you’re lucky enough to get through to the site, the printed coupon gets you a free 20-ounce bottle through February 2009.
I’ve refreshed the screen 7 times with no luck and I don’t even really like Dr. Pepper but who doesn’t like free stuff!
