Heather Locklear: Formally Charged In DUI Case

Heather Locklear was in court today and was formally charged with driving under the influence stemming from her September arrest.

The drugs in her system were “prescribed medications” but the amount and what type of medications was not released.

“Lab tests showed she had no alcohol in her system and no illegal narcotics of any kind,” says Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter.

The misdemeanor charge carries a penalty ranging from a fine all the way to six months in jail.

An arraignment was set for Jan. 26 in Santa Barbara Superior Court.
