Heather Locklear: Treatment For Anxiety and Depression
Former Melrose Place star, Heather Locklear, is now in an Arizona treatment center to treat her issues with anxiety and depression.
Her rep Cece Yorke tells People magazine Tuesday that, “Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment.”
Locklear has been reportedly taking medicine since her stressful divorce from Richie Sambora in February 2006. To add to her headache about the end of her marriage was Richie’s fling with former best friend Denise Richards and his March DUI arrest with their daughter in the car.
A 911 was made in the same month from a friend who mistakenly thought Locklear was suicidal and it prompted her condition and medication to be re-evaluated by a new doctor, a close source told People.
Luckily, Locklear won’t be going at it alone. Her boyfriend since April 2007, Jack Wagner, vows to stay by her side through this ordeal.
“Anyone who has the courage to seek help in order to live a healthy life gets my support 110 percent,” he told People.
