House Peters Jr.: ‘Mr. Clean’ Dies

The actor who portrayed the original ‘Mr. Clean,’ House Peters Jr., has died of pneumonia at the age of 92.
Peters’ son said that his father passed away on Wednesday at the Motion Picture and Television Fund Hospital in Los Angeles.
Peters Jr. was in the original commercials in the late 50s and early 60s and become an iconic bald man with an earring who took a no nonsense approach to cleaning.
He also appeared in “Perry Mason,” “Gunsmoke,” “The Twilight Zone” and “Lassie.”
Peters is survived by his wife, a daughter, another son and four grandchildren.
