Isaac Hayes: Dead at 65

Isaac Hayes
He wrote the theme from Shaft and won an Academy Award and two Grammy Awards for it and more recently he was the voice of “Chef” in the Comedy Central cartoon series South Park, but today Isaac Hayes has died.

The 65-year-old was found unconscious in his Memphis, Tennessee home next to his still running treadmill and although paramedics attempted to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2pm.

Foul play doesn’t seem to be involved in this case reports the local sheriff’s department.
