Jenna Bush: Married Today!

Jenna Bush will become the 22nd presidential child to marry while their father was in office but will be marrying far from the White House.

Jenna, 26, met her husband-to-be, Henry Hager, during her father’s 2004 re-election campaign where Henry was working as an aide to former top political adviser Karl Rove.

The wedding will take place May 10, reportedly around sunrise at President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas. The guest list is around 200 people and the bride will be wearing Oscar de la Renta.

Airspace is restricted to a 30-mile radius when the Bushes are at the ranch so the paparazzi won’t be able to snap too many shots of the bride and her twin sister, Barbara, who is her maid of honor.

The couple will head to Europe to honeymoon and then will start their life as a married couple in a two bedroom house in Baltimore. Jenna will return to teaching and her new hubby will work at Constellation Energy, a power supplier based in Maryland.

I guess it’s good that the President, who has had a rough two terms, can add a wedding to one of the last memories of his time in office.
