Jennifer Siebel Engaged To San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom

Actress Jennifer Siebel (you probably best know her from … um … well she played a receptionist in “Rent“. And lot’s more stuff like that.) has agreed to marry San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.

Newsom was previously married to Kimberly Guilfoyle, currently employed as a talking head on Fox News. He also dated Sofia Milos briefly, star of CSI: Miami. The guy is obviously a big fan of the actress type.

I kid about Siebel’s acting career, but she has the pedigree you’d expect from a woman marrying a politician:

Siebel, an aspiring Hollywood actress, was raised in Ross, where her parents still live, and attended the private Branson School preparatory school and graduated from Stanford University, where she also earned a graduate degree in business.

She has traveled around the globe to work with Conservation International, an environmental group. Her father, Ken, is an investment manager. Her mother, Judy, co-founded the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito.
