Jerry Reed: Country Singer Dead at 71

Jerry Reed died on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 71 due to complications from emphysema.
Reed was known for his country guitar and singing skills, his songwriting and his acting among other talents.
He won a Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 1972 for “When You’re Hot, You’re Hot,” had the song “Country Man” covered by Elvis Presley and also appeared in over a dozen films like 1998’s The Waterboy.
