Johnny Depp will play Captain Jack Again
Everybody’s favorite pirate, Johnny Depp, reassures that he’ll play Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) again, as long as fans want to see the movies. “I love the character so much and I enjoy playing the character so much and people seem to like it, [so] if there’s an opportunity to try again…” JoBlo quotes Depp.
“It’s like going up to bat. You want to get back out there and try and try and try and see what you can do. I enjoy playing Captain Jack very much.”
When talking about the Trilogy of films, Depp said, “Call me a glutton if you want… virtually no cinema is perfect, so Pirates one had its own thing, two and three, I suppose, had their own thing.”
Depp also joked about a plot for a fourth film, saying, “At this point I’m trying to turn it into a Beckett play. It could be anything… Jack could be in some geisha clothing. I don’t know. We could explore a lot of possibilities.”

It would be fantastic if he did a 4th movie. Maybe this time I can get some time off and volunteer to be in the movie. I was asked to test for the first movie but was too busy. I have few years of experience on tall ships. I even crewed on the tall ship lady Washington that was in the first movie. She was called the Interceptor. Btw let me tell you a secret. The ship didn’t have a wheel, she had a very large tiller. It was decided that the tiller would not show up in camera so they installed a fake wheel.
I would really enjoy watching a 4th movie. Besides it would promote more stores to stock pirate gear. Because of the movie I have been able to find more gear for when I do my pirate skit on the cruise ships.
