Jonny Fairplay Is Suing Himself Out Of A Career
Jonny Fairplay has filed suit against the Fox Reality Channel (as well as Danny Bonaduce and others). His reasoning? Fox didn’t call him an ambulance after Bonaduce kicked his ass.
According to the court documents, Fairplay is suing for “battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and negligent supervision”.
If you look at the video and pictures, it seems fairly obvious that Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce which led to Bonaduce flipping him over. Danny Bonaduce might not be the most reliable guy on earth, but his explanation rings true to me for some reason:
Danny says he was off the first step of the stage when Fairplay suddenly ran at him, jumped on him and wrapped his legs around him.
Danny says he didn’t know if Fairplay was joking. He then says he grabbed the butt of Fairplay’s jeans and threw him over his head, not realizing how light he was. Danny says Fairplay face planted into one of the seats behind him.
This is why people shouldn’t be career reality TV stars, this right here. Luckily for us, I’m guessing Fairplay is going to have trouble finding work after suing one of the few networks in existence that would consider giving him a job.
From what I can tell, Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce. It could be considered assault by Fairplay seeing how he invaded Bonaduce’s personal airspace.
Honestly, I think Bonaduce was in the right. He was headed offstage until asshat called him back to taunt him.
