Kanye West: Arrested At LAX
The paparazzi got to be a bit too much for rapper Kanye West today at LAX airport, causing West and his bodyguard/road manager to go to town smashing cameras.
Luckily, and not surprisingly, the whole thing was caught on tape thanks to another nearby pap linked with TMZ.com.
In the video, you see Kanye and the bodyguard dude snatching a camera and lighting piece from a photog, throw it to the ground and then the bodyguard comes toward the filming camera and ultimately breaks it.
The two were arrested for felony vandalism and held on $20,000 bail.
Kanye has been notorious for his temper-tantrums, like storming onstage at the MTV Europe Awards after he didn’t win and saying that he’d been wronged by voters, so today isn’t really all that surprising.
I doubt much will come by way of a heartfelt apology from the camera-wrecking duo so photogs assigned to Kanye, keep your distance and switch to using throwaway cameras.
