Katie Couric wishes she didn’t go to CBS

Katie Couric is second-guessing her move to CBS. After her switch over to the evening news, ratings have plummeted as CBS has scrambled to try new things in order to get their position to a higher rating.
Sources say “Couric conducts fewer interviews, an outside opinion segment was scrapped and the anchor admits she’s even dressing down a little to give her critics less ammunition.”

“People are very unforgiving and very resistant to change,” Couric said in an interview with New York magazine. “The biggest mistake we made is we tried new things.”

If she had known that would happen, the job “would have been less appealing to me. It would have required a lot more thought.”

Now that she has been quoted saying her job sucks, and wishes she didn’t take it, I give her a few weeks before she gets canned or “quits” before getting fired. You can’t just go on the record saying CBS is a crappy company to work for. “Oh, we suck, that’s okay Katie, here’s a big fat raise and some time off for all your hard work.” If that were the case, everyone would be trashing their bosses. Instead, most shut their pie holes and do their job, then come home and complain about it to the family. Get it right Katie.
