Kelly Clarkson hates her record label

kelly.jpgKelly Clarkson criticized her record label and Clive Davis in an soon to be released issue of Blender magazine.

“Clarkson insisted on recording her own songs on her third album, while Davis mindful of needing hits - wanted her to sing tunes written by others. But Clarkson says she told Davis: I don’t know you very well, and I’m not a bullshitter. I get that you don’t like the album. You’re 80 you’re not supposed to like my album.” She also said, “I literally got told to my face that it wouldn’t sell more than 600,000 copies. And I got lied to.”

I’m pretty sure I already heard this. But if it’s circulating around again, then her new album probably does suck really bad!

I love her. she’s awesome. and the old ass has finally been put out to pasture. I hope the let her record the album she wants this year and that the new label boss gets behind the album.
