In one of the biggest upsets in American Idol history, Kris Allen took home the title of American Idol tonight!

After amazing performances by the Top 13, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, KISS, and many more, Ryan Seacrest announced that Kris Allen had won the competition, beating front-runner Adam Lambert!
